Lessons Learned from California’s Lead: Carla Peterman, Commissioner, CPUC

Room: Ballroom
Date: Wednesday, February 15, 2017
Time: 9:15AM - 9:45AM EST

California has been a driving force in creating competitive market opportunities for energy storage - and the state is already reaping the benefits of those deployments. From the watershed legislation (AB 2514) - which set procurement targets for the state, and spurred a rapid expansion in the energy storage industry - to the recent emergency Aliso Canyon procurements and modifications to the SGIP incentive program, CA's suite of energy storage policies are a leading example for states to consider.

Commissioner Carla Peterman of the California Public Utilities Commission will present attendees with lessons learned from California’s leading experience and a vision for the opportunities, challenges, and roadblocks that lay ahead for further energy storage acceleration at the state level.
